Hyderabad, Nov. 13 -- The Additional Director General (ADG) of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Andhra Pradesh Licensed Service Area (AP LSA), Nagesh Rao, on Wednesday said the Department is strengthening efforts to enhance telecom safety, curb cyber fraud, and improve network quality while empowering citizens through digital tools such as the Sanchar Saathi mobile app.
Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad, Rao said the DoT is committed to building a secure, transparent, and citizen-centric telecom ecosystem. "We license, we monitor, we audit - and we work closely with operators, banks, and law enforcement agencies to safeguard the public," he said.
