Aizawl, May 14 -- In a major boost to Mizoram's ginger sector, the Ministry for Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER) has approved Rs 30.13 crore for post-harvest management and processing infrastructure under the ambitious Mizoram Ginger Unique Selling Proposition (MGUSP) project.

The sanction came immediately after the project was virtually inaugurated on Wednesday evening by Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma and union DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, according to an official statement issued on Thursday.
