Thiruvananthapuram, April 7 -- Congress Working Committee member and MP Shashi Tharoor has urged voters in Kerala not to channel anti-government sentiment towards the BJP, asserting that such a move would not bring any meaningful change.
He said that if people are voting for change, it should benefit the UDF, which he believes is best positioned to form the next government.
Tharoor noted that even the BJP does not expect major electoral gains in Kerala and questioned what alternative it could realistically offer.
He alleged that the party is relying on its financial strength at the Centre to run high-decibel campaigns, but expressed confidence that such efforts would not influence voters in the state.
