Washington, Sept. 27 -- Legendary singer and songwriter Dolly Parton's hit 1980 comedy "9 to 5" is set to return to theatres next month for a week-long run in the wake of her death on August 25 at the age of 80.
According to Variety, "9 to 5" will be re-released in theatres from October 9-15.
Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda co-starred with Parton in "9 to 5", which follows a group of female office workers. There is "the all-knowing manager who trained the boss but cannot get promoted, which is played by Tomlin, a befuddled newcomer (Fonda) and alluring personal secretary everyone presumes is having an affair, which is played by Parton - all band together to seek revenge on the man who is making their lives miserable," the logline reads.
