Aligarh, June 2 -- After receiving information and a video showing a female dog suffering from fractures to both hind legs after a dastardly attack allegedly at the hands of two villagers, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals India (PETA India) worked with Aasha Sisodia, founder of the Jeev Daya Foundation Aligarh, the dog's local caregiver, and officials at Gabhana Police Station to lodge a First Information Report (FIR) under relevant provisions of the law.
The incident occurred on May 13 in Piphloth village, Aligarh.
