Chennai, June 29 -- Scores of Opposition DMK cadres, including former Ministers, were arrested for staging a protest demonstration across the State demanding the arrest and dismissal of Tamil Nadu Minister D.Sarathkumar in an alleged drug case.
The protest was organised by the DMK Student's Wing near the Rajarathinam Stadium are Egmore area in the city and presided over by former Health Minister Ma.Subramanian, following a viral video on social media that allegedly that showed the Human Resources Management Minister arranging a white powder like substance during an IPL match in Chennai two years ago.
