Chennai, March 28 -- The ruling DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance (SPA) on Saturday released the list of constituencies of its allies which were decided after hectic parleys for the April 23 Tamil Nadu Assembly polls.

As per the seat sharing agreement, the DMK fielded its own candidates in 164 seats, while 11 candidates of alliance parties would be contesting under the DMK's "Rising Sun' Symbol, taking the number of those contesting under DMK symbol to 175, Chief Minister and Party President M K Stalin told reporters after releasing the list of constituencies and the DMK candidates for the polls.

Of the remaining weats, its main ally, the Congress was contesting in 28 seats, new entrant DMDK of late actor-politician in 10 seats, dalit ...
