Bengaluru, May 4 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Monday said the electoral rise of actor-turned-politician Vijay had triggered a major political churn in Tamil Nadu, acknowledging that the Assembly poll outcome marked a serious setback to the state's decades-old Dravidian political order.
In a detailed reaction to the election results across southern states and key regions, Siddaramaiah described the scale of the Tamil Nadu verdict as "unexpected", particularly in light of the welfare-oriented governance of the ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam government led by Chief Minister M.
