New Delhi, Feb. 25 -- The Delhi Khadi and Village Industries Board (DKVIB) will enhance employability and promote self-employment in the Khadi and Village Industries sector.
The Board, at its 55th Meeting here on Wednesday, passed a resolution to implement the Delhi Khadi Kaushal Vikas Yojana, which had earlier received approval from the Delhi Cabinet. Manjinder Singh Sirsa chaired the meeting.
Addressing the members, Sirsa described the scheme as a comprehensive empowerment initiative aimed at strengthening artisans and promoting self-reliance.
He said the programme combines skill development, financial support, tool kits and digital market access through an e-Catalogue platform to help artisans become self-reliant entrepreneurs.
