Bengaluru, May 10 -- Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on Sunday expressed profound grief over the demise of Karnataka Minister and senior Congress leader D. Sudhakar, describing him as a dynamic public representative committed to the development of his constituency and welfare of the people.

In a condolence message, Shivakumar said Sudhakar was an extremely active colleague who constantly focused on developmental works and public service.

"Whenever he met me, he would invariably come with proposals and requests concerning one development project or another for his constituency. His demise is deeply painful. Sudhakar was also personally close to me and his passing has caused immense sorrow," he said.
