Kolkata, June 16 -- Trinamool Congress National General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee was quizzed for six and half hours by the West Bengal police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) sleuths on Tuesday, marking the fourth session of grilling faced by the Diamond Harbour MP over the past six days on various charges from Central and state agencies.

The CID questioning during the day centred around its investigation into an alleged provocative remark made by Banerjee during the Assembly election campaign.
