Ranchi, May 6 -- Dissent has emerged within the Jharkhand Congress following the announcement of the party's new 314-member state committee, with some leaders expressing dissatisfaction over organisational appointments.

The internal differences intensified after state finance minister Radha Krishna Kishore reportedly raised concerns over the new arrangement. Subsequently, Pradesh Congress secretary Prashant Kishore resigned from his post.

Senior Congress leader Jagdish Sahu has also resigned as Pradesh Congress secretary, alleging that experienced and dedicated workers were being overlooked in the new committee structure.
