Hyderabad, Jan. 22 -- The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) has registered a case of disproportionate assets against Arramada Venkat Reddy, Additional Collector (Revenue) and In-charge District Education Officer (DEO), Hanumakonda district.
The officer is currently under suspension.
According to the ACB release on Thursday, the case was registered after it was found that the accused officer allegedly acquired assets disproportionate to his known sources of income by indulging in corrupt practices and dubious means during his service.
The offence is punishable under Section 13(1)(b) read with 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018).
