Orlando, Aug. 31 -- At the Destination D23 showcase, Walt Disney Animation Studios lifted the curtain on its next original feature, "Hexed", a fantastical coming-of-age tale set to enchant audiences when it opens in cinemas in November 2026.
The film, announced by chief creative officer Jared Bush, has a logline saying: "Disney's Hexed is an all-new original film that follows an awkward teenage boy and his Type - A mom, who discover that what makes him unusual, might just be magical powers that will turn their lives and a secret world of magic, upside down."Directed by Josie Trinidad and Jason Hand, with Roy Conli and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones producing, the film promises a fresh infusion of wit, wonder and emotional resonance.
