Chandigarh, March 18 -- Tension gripped the Indri region of Karnal district on Wednesday following the recovery of several cattle carcasses from the Western Yamuna Canal near Dhaman Heri village. The gruesome discovery led to immediate public outcry, raising serious concerns regarding law and order in the area. Upon receiving information about the incident, local police and a forensic team rushed to the spot to manage the situation and initiate a high-level investigation into the suspected slaughter.
