Islamabad, April 7 -- Reza Amiri Moghadam, Iran's ambassador to Pakistan, has described ongoing diplomatic efforts to halt the US-Israel war with Iran as entering a "critical, sensitive" stage, though he did not dilvulged further details.

Pakistan has emerged as a mediator after many traditional Gulf mediators were drawn into the conflict, following Iran's retaliatory attacks on US assets and other targets in the region.

The urgency comes as the clock ticks for Iran, with President Donald Trump's final deal looming.
