Patna, Sept. 27 -- Delhi Lieutenant Governor and former diplomat Taranjit Singh Sandhu on Sunday said diplomacy in the changing global environment was no longer confined to relations between countries, but could serve as an important instrument for promoting economic growth, investment, technology, education, skills and employment opportunities.
Addressing a lecture on "Diplomacy as a Catalyst Fueling the Vision of Viksit Bharat", organised under the aegis of Patliputra Pragya Pravah at Bihar Lok Bhavan here, Sandhu said diplomacy could act as an effective catalyst in India's endeavour to become a developed nation.
