Kolhapur/Satara, July 23 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that opposition leader Rahul Gandhi's protest dharna outside the PM's residence was a totally irresponsible action, and asked whether the Congress leader want to commit an attack on the residence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Addressing a press conference at Dare village in Satara district, (a native place of Eknath Shinde), the Deputy CM reacted sharply to Rahul Gandhi's protest on Tuesday in front of PM's residence, along with Priyanka Gandhi and other Congress leaders for three hours to demand the resignation of the Education Minister.

He said "The place where Rahul Gandhi protested was wrong. Did Rahul Gandhi want to commit an attack?" he asked.
