Bengaluru, May 1 -- Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Friday launched a sharp attack on the Congress government over its reported allocation of development funds for minority colonies, questioning Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's approach to governance, asking, "Did Hindus not vote for the Congress party?" and alleged that the government was not ensuring equitable development across all communities.

Addressing reporters here, Vijayendra accused the state government of pursuing "appeasement politics" and questioned why development money was being earmarked "only for minorities".
