Kathmandu, Aug. 26 -- According to Nepalese publication Ukeraa, the flash flood struck Tibet's Kerung County at around 10:30 am China time, or approximately 8:15 am Nepal time, given the two-hour-and-15-minute time difference.
By around 9 am, the flood had swept into Nepal through the Bhote Koshi River, affecting Rasuwa and Dhading districts bordering Tibet and Nuwakot district southwest of Kathmandu. Scores were killed and hundreds reported missing.
