Buenos Aires, Sept. 14 -- Angel Di Maria converted a second-half penalty as 10-man Rosario Central secured a 1-0 win at Tigre in Argentina's Clausura tournament.

The Argentina World Cup winner broke the deadlock on the hour after Colombian midfielder Jaminton Campaz was brought down by Valentin Moreno on Sunday.

The visitors were forced to endure a tense final 20 minutes after Emanuel Coronel's ugly challenge on Nahuel Banegas earned him a second yellow card. Rosario Central is fourth in the 15-team Zone B standings with 15 points from nine outings, three points ahead of 10th-placed Tigre.
