Chandigarh, Nov. 13 -- Religious preacher Dhirendra Krishna Shastri felt unwell and recorded a high fever while leading his 'Sanatan Ekta Padayatra' in Haryana on Wednesday, officials said, as the procession continued amid heightened security following the Delhi blast.
Shastri, who began the day's march from Tumsra village in Palwal district, complained of illness near Khattela Sarai and lay down on the road. Medical staff called to the scene recorded a temperature of about 100degF (around 38degC), and doctors advised two to three days of rest. Despite the advice, organisers said Shastri resumed the march after taking medication and a brief rest.
