Mumbai, May 10 -- A wave of excitement has swept through Mumbai's Dharavi area following the rise of TVK to power in Tamil Nadu and the appointment of Joseph Vijay as the new Chief Minister.
Fans and supporters of actor-turned-politician Thalapathy Vijay celebrated the occasion with great enthusiasm across the locality.
Supporters put up banners, posters, and hoardings at several places in Dharavi, while members of the Tamil community and local youth marked the moment by bursting crackers and distributing sweets.
Many expressed confidence that Vijay's leadership would bring a new direction for development in Tamil Nadu.
