Dharamshala, June 1 -- A three-day training programme for supervisors and enumerators engaged in house listing operations under the first phase of Census 2027 was organised in the Dharamshala Municipal Corporation area.
Addressing the participants, Rajinder Kumar, the Census Officer for Dharamshala Municipal Corporation, highlighted the significance of the census in shaping the country's development plans and public policies.
He stressed that the exercise must be carried out with utmost responsibility, accuracy and transparency. He informed that, following the training, enumerators will conduct door-to-door house listing under the supervision of designated supervisors.
