Dharamshala, Oct. 8 -- A blood donation camp organised by the Navjeevan Trust at Narwana in Dharamshala on Wednesday collected 722 units of blood, surpassing Himachal Pradesh's previous record of 603 units by 119 units.
The camp was organised under the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' launched by the trust to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi's completion of 25 years in public life. A large number of youths, local residents and people from different sections of society participated in the initiative.
To ensure smooth management and avoid overcrowding, donors were allotted separate time slots.
