New Delhi, June 10 -- : Amitabh Kumar, Additional Secretary and Director General, Trade Remedies (AS&DG), on Wednesday highlighted Directorate General of Trade Remedies' (DGTR) role as India's integrated trade authority under the Commerce Ministry.
Addressing a presser on "Trade Remedy Measures: Creating a Level Playing Field for Indian Industry" here, Kumar said that DGTR conducts anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard investigations.
It also recommends appropriate measures to the government in accordance with domestic laws and India's obligations under the World Trade Organisation (WTO) framework.
