New Delhi, March 26 -- : The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) is working to make it easier for airlines to operate and expand while also strengthening passenger rights, its chief Faiz Ahmed Kidwai said on Thursday.
He noted that airlines are facing major challenges, such as longer flight routes and increased operational costs caused by airspace restrictions, and expressed hope that "better days" lie ahead.
The ongoing West Asia conflict is creating additional challenges for airlines, many of which have reduced their services to the region.
