Bengaluru, Aug. 27 -- Devotees across Bengaluru thronged temples in large numbers to mark the beginning of the ten-day Ganesh Chaturthi festival dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
The city witnessed long queues outside prominent shrines, including the Dodda Ganapathi Temple in Basavanagudi, as people offered flowers, coconuts, sweets, and traditional prayers, seeking blessings for prosperity, health, and well-being.
Beyond temple worship, residential areas and public spaces were adorned with Ganesha idols, rangoli designs, and festive lights.
