Varanasi, Feb. 15 -- A vibrant and devotional atmosphere enveloped the sacred city of Varanasi, also known as Kashi, on the auspicious occasion of Mahashivratri, as thousands of devotees gathered to witness and participate in the traditional Shiv Barat.
The grand procession commenced from Tilbhandeshwar Mahadev Temple, drawing devotees not only from Kashi but also from abroad. Upholding a decades-old tradition, the symbolic wedding procession of Lord Shiva was carried out with great fervour and devotion.
