Puri, July 14 -- Hundreds of devotees who waited in queues for hours, braving inclement weather, were left disappointed on Tuesday after the Sri Jagannath Temple administration restricted the much-awaited Naba Jouban Darshan of the sibling deities to a brief period.
The temple administration allowed only 30 minutes for Paramanik Darshan (ticketed darshan) and another hour for Sahanamela, the free public darshan, triggering resentment among devotees who could not get a glimpse of the deities.
Despite the limited darshan period, around 40,000 devotees entered the temple within two hours and witnessed the Trinity - Lord Jagannath, his elder brother Lord Balabhadra and sister Devi Subhadra - in their Naba Jouban Vesha, symbolising renewed you...
