Nashik, Aug. 16 -- Devotees travelling to Trimbakeshwar Temple in Maharashtra's Nashik district during Shravan have been advised to allow extra time for their journey, remain patient and be prepared for traffic congestion.

According to the Nashik Public Works Department (PWD) one-way traffic is currently in effect at several points along the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar route due to ongoing road construction work being carried out in preparation for the Kumbh Mela.

Officials said 11 km of the 17-km stretch under the Nashik PWD has been completed. However, at several locations, only one side of the road is ready, while construction work continues on the other.
