New Delhi, March 23 -- Devender Yadav, president of the Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee (DPCC), today launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led Delhi government, accusing Chief Minister Rekha Gupta of "governance failure and administrative incompetence" ahead of the Budget Session beginning Monday.

Yadav alleged that nearly 43 per cent of the Rs 57,850 crore revised outlay for schemes, projects and programmes in the 2025-26 Budget remained unspent, raising serious concerns about the government's implementation capacity.

He said that although the original allocation for development works stood at Rs 59,300 crore, it was later revised downward, indicating that even planned expenditures were not fully utilised.
