Bhubaneswar, April 30 -- Stressing the urgent need to address the growing threat of climate-induced disasters, US-based environmental expert Subijoy Dutta has called for comprehensive scientific studies on extreme weather events such as glacial lake outburst floods in Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh to identify effective measures for reducing their devastating impact.
