Hyderabad, May 31 -- Desa Squadron was adjudged the Champion Squadron for the Spring Term 2026 and awarded the prestigious Commandant's Banner at the Air Force Academy (AFA), Dundigal, on Saturday, marking overall excellence across academics, sports, military training and extracurricular activities.
The Commandant's Banner Conferment Ceremony was held at the Tejas Parade Ground, bringing to a close months of intense inter-squadron competition involving physical activities, sports, debates, quizzes, cross-country runs, field camps, drill contests and academic performance.
