New Delhi, Aug. 1 -- Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MP Derek O'Brien on Saturday launched a fresh attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party-led Centre, accusing it of introducing "draconian" legislation and pushing such bills through Parliament without adequate discussion while also questioning the repeated disruptions in the functioning of the two Houses.
In a post on social media platform X, O'Brien alleged that the ruling party had adopted a pattern of bringing controversial laws before Parliament and ensuring their passage without meaningful debate.
