Mumbai, June 21 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde reached Kargil to inaugurate the 'Border Braverython' function to be held there tomorrow.
It is 26 years since the Kargil War, in which the Indian Army defeated Pakistan with a show of valor, and a special Border Braverython marathon has been organised in Dras in the Kargil region.
Shinde will personally attend the programme to be held in Dras to flag off the Braverython, which is being organised under the initiative of the Indian Army, Border Organization Pune and Aarham Foundation, said Deputy CM Shinde's office today.
