New Delhi, Aug. 27 -- Delhi experienced generally cloudy conditions on Thursday, with light rain reported at a few places. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast another spell of very light to light rain accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning at many places across the national capital for Friday.

The weather activity is associated with a low-pressure area over southeast Uttar Pradesh and adjoining areas, which persisted over the same region, today. The system's associated cyclonic circulation extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level and is tilting southwestwards with height.
