New Delhi, July 13 -- The Delhi Government has entered into a contract with a private institute to launch university-degree courses in the booming Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, Comics, and Extended Reality (AVGC-ER) sector, said officials from the Education Department on Monday.

Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) signed a five-year contract with MEL Training & Assessments Limited, the parent company of Maya Academy of Advanced Creativity (MAAC), a 3D animation and VFX training institute established in 2001, headquartered in Mumbai, to roll out courses in design for Class 12 graduates.
