New Delhi, March 20 -- Delhi gears up for another spell of light to moderate rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds on Friday after the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alert.
Several parts of the city experienced rainfall on March 20, with showers expected to persist throughout the day.
In its local weather bulletin, the IMD issued a yellow alert advising residents to "watch and stay updated," forecasting light to moderate rainfall, thunderstorms with lightning, and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph in Delhi.
Earlier, the Met Department had said that Delhi, Noida, Dadri, and Greater Noida could witness hailstorms and thunderstorms accompanied by moderate rainfall, lightning, and gusty winds of 40-50 kmph.
