New Delhi, July 16 -- Delhi's PWD and Water Minister Parvesh Verma on Thursday inspected the restored Rainwater Harvesting (RWH) system at Thyagraj Stadium and reviewed the progress of the city-wide campaign for such ongoing work.
Notably, the Delhi government is taking forward Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of "Catch the Rain - Where it Falls, When it Falls," and has accordingly launched a mission-mode campaign to transform rainwater conservation across the city.
Speaking after the inspection, Verma emphasized that conserving every drop of rainwater is essential to arrest the alarming decline in the national capital's groundwater levels.
