New Delhi, March 1 -- Delhi Legislative Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta on Sunday inaugurated the Savitri Devi Goyal Institute of Computer Education and Reading Room at Nangloi, saying digital literacy has become an essential requirement in today's era.
The programme was organised by Seva Bharati at Raghunath Dharamshala and aims to empower children and youth, especially from economically weaker sections, by providing access to computer education and a dedicated reading space.
Addressing the gathering, Gupta said computer education is no longer a luxury but a necessity in the digital age, as almost every profession and government service requires basic computer knowledge.
