New Delhi, Jan. 21 -- The Delhi Secretariat on Wednesday hosted a celebration of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura Statehood Day, that saw the rich folk culture, traditions and cultural heritage of these three northeastern states presented on a national platform.

Sahitya Kala Parishad presented vibrant cultural programmes based on the traditional folk dances and folk music of Manipur, Meghalaya and Tripura.

Two cultural troupes from each of these states delivered captivating performances that enthralled the audience.

Through traditional attire, expressive dance forms and folk music, the artistes effectively showcased the cultural diversity of Northeast India.
