New Delhi, July 1 -- Delhi's EV buyers can now start availing the benefits of the subsidy and the scrapping policy soon after they buy an electric vehicle, as the CM Rekha Gupta government's EV Policy 2026 has been notified.
According to CM Gupta, the policy aims to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles across the national capital, bring improvement in air quality, reduce dependence on conventional fuels, significantly expand charging and battery swapping infrastructure and develop a robust electric mobility ecosystem.
The Chief Minister has informed that a Model Approval Committee will be constituted under the Transport Department to determine the eligibility of electric vehicle models for incentives and subsidies. The panel will ...
