New Delhi, July 4 -- Lieutenant Governor Taranjit Sandhu, during a meeting with Delhi Development Authority's Advisory Council, outlined a vision for a developed Delhi, to ensure that the national capital becomes an environmentally sustainable, inclusive city offering good quality living, along with economic vibrancy.
The meeting focused on the challenges confronting the national capital's urban landscape, like housing shortage, traffic congestion, water security and others.
According to officials present in the meeting, LG has emphasized that city's growth must be sustainable, inclusive and future ready, so that the citizens can live a quality life and there is uniform growth.
