New Delhi, Nov. 17 -- Delhi woke up to a chilly morning on Monday, with the minimum temperature slipping to 8.7degC, 3.6 degrees below normal and the lowest November reading in the past three years, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
In recent years, the lowest minimum temperature for the month was recorded on November 29, 2022, at 7.3 degrees Celsius. While November's lowest minimum temperature was 9.2 degrees Celsius in 2023 and 9.5 degrees Celsius in 2024, IMD data showed.
Despite the frigid mornings, the shining sun during the daytime kept the maximum temperature for Monday at 27.1 degrees Celsius, well within the range of the city's normal for the month.
