New Delhi, Sept. 18 -- In a late-night inspection aimed at accelerating the national capital's road improvement drive, Delhi PWD Minister Parvesh Sahib Singh visited Africa Avenue past midnight to take stock of ongoing resurfacing work and assess the quality of execution on the ground.
During the surprise inspection, the Minister directed officials to ensure that quality is not compromised at any stage and that the work is completed within the stipulated timeline.
A third-party agency has also been deployed with specialised equipment to check the quality and thickness of the road surface, ensuring that the work meets prescribed standards, officials said.
