New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- Delhi Police busted an alleged Indo-Nepal drug trafficking syndicate with the seizure of 106.25 kg of high-quality charas, estimated to be worth around Rs 109 crore in the international market, and arrested four Nepalese nationals, said officials on Friday.
According to police, the seizure was made in two intelligence-led operations conducted over six weeks. The first operation on June 29 led to the arrest of three accused from Kotla Mubarakpur and the recovery of 8.598 kg of charas. During the investigation, police traced the alleged supply chain to another suspect operating a storage facility in Wazirabad.
