New Delhi, Nov. 6 -- Dealing a significant blow to organised crime in the capital, Delhi Police has dismantled the core operational network of the dreaded Nasir Gang, that operated across the Trans-Yamuna region, an official said on Thursday.
According to the police, the accused have been booked under provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA).
Police have arrested several absconding gang members, including two principal executors and a major international arms supplier.
"The sustained operations since 2019 neutralised the gang's operational structure and reduced the incidents of targeted shootings, land grabbing, and extortion across East Delhi and NCR," said Aditya Gautam, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime)...
