New Delhi, July 25 -- In a major crackdown on the drug menace in the national capital, an interstate syndicate involved in supplying psychotropic drugs was busted by the North East district police.
According to Police, over 19.70 lakh Tramadol and Alprazolam tablets and capsules, with a total weight of approximately 470.686 Kg, along with an SUV, used for transporting the contraband have been recovered from the five accused persons, who have been arrested.
The crackdown was in continuation of the previous recovery of drugs on June 20, and the arrest of a father-son duo from the Jyoti Nagar area.
