New Delhi, Oct. 4 -- Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing has arrested a man allegedly involved in cases related to forging of government documents, the police said on Sunday.
The accused identified as Kushal Samir Mehta, who was on the run, was arrested on October 1 from the Borivali Railway Station, Mumbai, following sustained technical surveillance, field verification and continuous tracking of his movements across Mumbai and Gujarat.
The case was registered on the complaint of a senior accounts officer, Ministry of Finance, regarding attempted release/ encashment of Government payments on the basis of forged and fabricated sanction letters, treasury/ payment instruments and other Government documents.
